Applications

LaserCusing is the only Layer Manufacturing Technology (LMT) which provides complete freedom of geometry for both the inside and outside of hardened steel components. While at first the technology was used mostly in the mould and die industry, its unique combination of properties for fabricating parts has given rise to many additional applications.

This menu provides some examples of additional applications. This unique technology might well solve your problem, too.  The first step to a solution is simply to let us know about it.

    1. Base plate: DME 196x196 mold plate with LaserCusing cores having interior conformal cooling
    2. Center plate: DME 196x196 mold plate having small cores with conformal cooling made by LaserCusing
    3. End plate: DME 196x196 with milled product geometry. (A conformal cooling chamber is milled on the  reverse side)
