Combined cooling channel/surface method

By combining the hybrid method of construction with a combination of cooling channels and cooling surfaces, it’s possible to provide seamless conformal cooling in hardened steel tooling at very low cost.

The technique is typically applied to cores. The pictures on the right show how it’s done. Once you have the general idea, you can be quite creative in how you implement this technique into your own cores. We can assure you that the increase in performance obtained will pay off handsomely compared to the small effort and investment required!
